2020 NRA HOME FIRE ARMS SAFETY COURSE
Bass River Rod and Gun Club offers the NRA Home Firearms Safety Course which is required of first time applicants for a Massachusetts Class “A” License to Carry Firearms. It also meets the requirements for applicants wishing to obtain a Firearms Identification Card (FID). Course Fee: $80.00
This 4 hour course is designed for individuals who want to apply for an FID card or License to Carry permit, followed with an approximately 2 hour live fire exercise.
Topics to include: Revolver, Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun Parts and Operation Using and Operating a Firearm Safely Ammunition and Storage Shooting Fundamentals Improving and Maintaining Shooting Skills and Cleaning Firearms.Massachusetts Laws Pertaining to Permit Application, firearms storage and transportation. Live Fire Training is completed on a state of the art indoor shooting range located on the premises. All phases of training are done under direct supervision of highly experienced NRA and MA certified Firearms instructors.

MONTHLY CLASS REGISTRATION ENDS 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLASS DATE.
